Normex sales manager Lars Christian Vik welcomes us on board MS Kapp Linné – a modern combination vessel for fisheries and aquaculture, owned by Myre Kystdrift.
Normex has delivered a complete ozone system to the vessel, including on-board oxygen production directly from the system.
The solution is used for washing and disinfecting cargo holds and factory areas, contributing to increased biosecurity, improved fish welfare and effective disinfection – without the use of chemicals. Oxygen from the system can also be actively used during loading and handling of fish.
In the film, vessel owner Michael Lockert describes a close and inclusive collaboration with Normex, and shares his experience of how the solution performs in practice as part of a demanding and future-oriented operation.
